Tina C. Wang
Tina Wang is a composer, music director, producer and pianist from Taiwan with over 17 years of experience. Equipped with her bachelor’s degree in Music Composition, her composing and production experience includes music for film, television, pop artists, video games, major orchestras, and musicals. Tina has also toured the world as a lead keyboardist, producer, music arranger and orchestra conductor playing in over 200 concerts for over 4 million people worldwide with many tier-one Chinese singers which includes CoCo Lee,
Jay Chou, Mayday, A-Lin, Amei.
After 17 years of working in the music industry in Asia, Tina moved to Los Angeles where she studied Screen Scoring at the University of Southern California under the mentorship of
9 time Emmy Award winner Bruce Broughton and Grammy and Emmy Award-winning composer Laura Karpman. At USC, Tina was honored with the Georges Delerue Conductor Award and was invited to work as an assistant conductor to Laura Karpman for the 2016 Hollywood "Women Who Score Concert" held by Alliance for Women Film Composers.
Tina has continued to work internationally on several projects: on over 3 billion views of the top 10 ranked 2018 Chinese TV series, "Moonshine and Valentine", And a $53 million at the box office Chinese movie "Upcoming"2021; in "LIFE", a concert movie for the pop band “Mayday”, and for “Bounty Hounds” a Sony PSP video game. She has also had experience composing for musicals, one of which led to collaborating with the Taipei Symphony Orchestra in 2019. The album "Diligent life" she produced just got nominated for Album of the year & Best aboriginal album of the Golden Melody Award 2020.
Having been inspired by a film at the age of 10, Tina has devoted her life to pursuing a career in the film industry in Hollywood. She is passionate about the visceral emotions that can come from music and film harmonizing on screen. Forever a student of the industry, Tina is determined in expressing herself through her music and sharing her joy with the world.
